In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Washington Supreme Court Gender & Justice Commission is hosting a lunch reception on Friday, March 4. This year’s national theme is “Working to Form a More Perfect Union: Honoring Women in Public Service and Government.” We are pleased to announce that former Representative Velma Veloria, will be one of the guest speakers. Ms. Veloria was the first Filipina elected to state legislature and served for 12 years from 1992-2004.
