2025 KCWWL Law School Scholarship Recipient


Emma Tolliver is the 2025 KCWWL University of Washington School of Law Scholarship Recipient.  Emma is the Founder and Administrative Director of Survivors + Allies In Law (SAIL) at the University of Washington School of Law and has successfully advocated for the university to update its sexual harassment policy to include protections against AI-generated material.  At UW Law, she is also Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, Treasurer of the Native American Law Student Association, and a member of the Washington Law Review.  Emma previously served as a policy fellow at UCLA's Center for the Study of Women and worked as a certified Trauma-Informed Trainer with AmeriCorps.  Next spring, Emma will serve as a Gender and Justice Commission Judicial Extern to Judge Rebecca Glasgow at the Washington State Court of Appeals - Division II. 

 

Tereza Neveceralova is the 2025 KCWWL Seattle University School of Law Scholarship Recipient.  Tereza holds a Masters of Law and Law Science from the University of West Bohemia School of Law in the Czech Republic and is currently a Juris Doctor candidate in Seattle University School of Law's Global Accelerated Program.  At Seattle University School of Law, Tereza is a research assistant on reproductive rights, femicide, and domestic violence issues to Dr. Diedre Bowen.  She also serves as President of the Family Law Society and volunteers with the Family Law Center, where she has assisted over 100 domestic violence survivors with protection orders, dissolutions, and parenting plans.  Last summer, Tereza worked as a legal intern at the Alaska Labor Relations Agency in Anchorage, Alaska.  



2024 KCWWL Law School Scholarship Recipient



Grace Ande is the 2024 KCWWL Seattle University School of Law Scholarship Recipient. Grace is currently the VP of Networking for SU's Womxn's Law Caucus, a member of the Seattle University Law Review, and a member of the Moot Court Board. This past year, Grace worked as a legal intern at GLP Attorneys, P.S., Inc. She also currently works as a substitute teacher and para educator at an elementary school, where she teaches students with learning differences and delivers lessons tailored to diverse learning styles. Outside of school, Grace is an avid hunter and fisher and is also interested in sustainable agriculture.






This year, we were also able to award five inaugural emergency funds to law school students at the Seattle University School of Law and the University of Washington School of Law. These awards are intended to provide relief to law students currently experiencing financial hardship and/or significant, unanticipated obstacles.
