On behalf of the Moot Court Honor Board at the University of Washington School of Law, I am pleased to invite you to participate as a judge in our 1L Appellate Advocacy competition, which will be held in person at William H. Gates Hall (the UW Law building). The competition runs from April 25th to May 2d, with judge check in beginning at 5:30 PM nightly. We are most in need of judges the first three nights of competition, but would be glad to have you any night you’re free!

 

We welcome attorneys from all practice areas to participate. Volunteer judges are invaluable to the continued success of MCHB and the in-house competition program. We are reaching out given your previous experience with UW MCHB, but please feel free to forward this invitation on to other members of the legal community who may be interested in participating. As a judge, you will provide valuable feedback and evaluate the participants' performance. For your service as a judge, you will receive 3 free CLE credits and 2.5 credits for each additional night judged.
