Friday, October 13, 2017: Welcome!

6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.: Complimentary Welcome Reception on the second floor of the Montvale Hotel (1005 W 1st Ave, Second Floor, Spokane, WA 99201) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Enjoy wine, heavy appetizers and networking with event attendees. No need to RSVP!

Saturday, October 14, 2017: CLE, Wine Tasting and the Annual Event!

12:30 to 2:30 p.m.: The Third Annual Women's Law Update and CLE will be held at the Montvale Event Center (1017 W 1st Ave, Spokane, WA 99201). It is not too late to register! WWL, Columbia Legal Services and Legal Voice present this two-hour CLE that will focus on recent legislation and litigation, as well as ongoing advocacy, that Columbia Legal Services and Legal Voice are engaged in to advance women’s and LGBTQ rights in Washington State. Presenters include Janet Chung (Advocacy Director, Columbia Legal Services) and Nancy Sapiro (Lobbyist, Legal Voice).

3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Registrants may also attend a wine tasting walking-tour on Saturday afternoon following our CLE. Participants will meet in the lobby of the Montvale Hotel (1005 W 1st Ave, Spokane, WA 99201) at 3:00 p.m. Email Alicia Levy for more information and to RSVP!

6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.: Annual Event Dinner and Awards Banquet at the Montvale Event Center (1017 W 1st Ave, Spokane, WA 99201). The theme for this year’s event is: I AM IN! Included. Invested. Involved. The event will feature a keynote panel moderated by Hon. Rosanna Peterson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. Judge Peterson will lead a discussion with our distinguished panel of local non-profit leaders:

• Antony Chiang – President, Empire Health Foundation;
  
• Rachel Houglum – Executive Director, Women Helping Women Fund;
  
• Rick Eichstaedt – Executive Director, Center for Justice.
