WWL’s Annual Event will be held on the evening of Friday, October 12, 2018 from 6PM-9PM, at Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Spanish Ballroom (411 University St, Seattle, WA 98101). The theme for this year’s event is “Our Time is Now.” This event coincides with WWL’s Plugging the Leaky Pipeline Series and continues our effort to capitalize on opportunities for advancement and leadership for women in a variety of professions.
Our Annual Event will feature a keynote panel moderated by the Hon. Faye Chess, recently appointed to Seattle Municipal Court bench. Judge Chess will lead a discussion with the following distinguished panel of female leaders from around the state: Mayor Cassie Franklin, Everett, Washington’s first female mayor; Attorney Kristina Larry, solo-practitioner and owner of Sassy Litigations; and Sangeeta Gupte, co-president of Young Women Empowered, a local organization dedicated to empowering young women from diverse backgrounds to become leaders.
