Join Dana Reber, LMSW, Aging Consultant and founder of Age With A Plan and Shelby DeSiervo, CFP®,  Wealth Advisor with Cable Hill Partners for a conversation around how to navigate this paradigm including tips for how to have difficult conversations with families, the importance of planning early, an overview of care options, and how to make it all work financially.

MORE ABOUT OUR PRESENTERS:

Dana Reber, LMSW

Dana Reber truly believes in the benefit of long-term life planning and enjoys sharing her knowledge with others. Dana holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, and is licensed in Oregon. She has been a medical social worker since 2002, and while working for a home health agency in Eugene, Oregon, she found her passion for the aging community. Dana wanted to provide advocacy and emotional support to families as they made important, and sometimes, difficult life decisions. After moving to Portland in 2016, Dana launched her own consulting business, Age With A Plan, focused specifically on long-term life planning. Dana believes in using a holistic and compassionate approach, and each plan is personalized to each client’s unique situation.  When not working to help others, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, practicing yoga, baking, and gardening. Dana lives with her husband and two sons in Portland, Oregon.

Shelby DeSiervo, CFP®, CRPS®

As a values-driven wealth advisor, Shelby believes in taking a collaborative and holistic approach in her planning work with clients and their families.  She believes that the financial planning process should be driven by what’s most important to the client, and ultimately provide clarity, course and confidence in the client’s financial future.  Often plans are designed to help solve for elements of financial safety and security, financial flexibility and the desire to care for loved ones.  Shelby began her career as a social worker before transitioning to Cable Hill Partners to work within the wealth management industry and brings compassion to every single client interaction.  Shelby lives in the Sellwood neighborhood of Portland with her husband and 8 month old son.
