Role Overview

The Private Client group at Stoel Rives LLP is seeking to add a junior associate attorney to its estate planning and administration practice in Portland, Oregon.  Our private client group offers a full range of advice and strategic counsel on planning for taxable estates, including charitable and international planning, administering estates and trusts, and advising on complex gifts.  We also work closely with our corporate, real estate, and tax lawyers in succession planning for family businesses.

· Experience with, or interest in trusts and estate planning;

· Ability to manage multiple projects in collaboration with our partners and senior associates;

· Excellent written and oral communication skills;

· Good judgment, responsiveness, and perseverance;

· Strong intellectual curiosity;

· Self-motivation;

· A commitment to client service and team success;

· JD from an accredited university;

· Active membership in the Oregon State bar or ability to waive in (preferred).
