Associate Attorney

The Seattle office of Stoel Rives is seeking an associate with 3 to 7 years of sophisticated construction litigation and contract drafting experience for its Construction and Design subgroup. You will work on a number of construction and design contracts, using different project delivery systems, as well as a wide variety of litigation matters related to construction projects, both public and private.

  • 3-7 years of sophisticated construction litigation and contract drafting experience, including on industrial, multi-family, commercial, and large residential development matters;
  • Strong interpersonal skills such as ability to build and maintain relationships with the local business community;
    Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Detail oriented and ability to produce client-ready documents;
  • Good judgment, responsiveness, and perseverance;
  • Strong intellectual curiosity;
  • Self-motivation;
  • A commitment to client service and team success;
  • JD from an accredited university; and
  • Active membership in or commitment to applying for the Washington State Bar.
