Associate Attorney – Environmental
Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson P.S. (HCMP) seeks an environmental attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join and help grow its thriving, nationally-ranked environmental practice. The ideal candidate must have a depth of experience working on sophisticated transactional, regulatory, and litigation matters involving contaminated property and application of the Washington Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). Experience with, or demonstrable interest in, real estate transactions and development involving contaminated property, environmental insurance claims, and a willingness to take on a diverse range of fast-paced environmental matters are necessary components of this role.
At HCMP, our culture is defined by our commitment to teamwork and cooperation, so a successful candidate must excel in working with multidisciplinary teams. Some portable business is a plus, but a willingness to assist with executing our team’s business development plan is required.
HCMP offers an atmosphere of excellence for attorneys and staff in a collegial, non-institutional setting that encourages collaborative effort and broad client contact. Interested applicants are encouraged to submit a confidential resume and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org.
