The Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, located in downtown Tacoma, is the largest law firm in the county, employing approximately 212 staff including a large number of deputy prosecutors.  Pierce County, which includes Tacoma, has a population of 813,600 and growing.  The office has three divisions:  the Criminal Division, which is responsible for prosecuting all felonies, misdemeanors and juvenile cases; the Civil Division, which is responsible for providing legal advice to County officials and representing the County's interest in court; and the Family Support Division, which is an integral part of the State child support system.
