Associate Attorney - Consumer Lending Litigation - Job #A20170713 – Seattle, Washington

The Seattle office of Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a nonpartnership-track litigation associate to work with the firm’s financial services litigation group in the area of residential mortgage lender liability actions in state and federal courts. Candidates must be members of the Washington State Bar, have excellent academic credentials and 3-5 years of experience in residential mortgage litigation. Candidates must be very familiar with state and federal consumer protection laws applicable to a residential mortgage and must have experience defending claims arising from loan servicing, foreclosures, and loan modification practices. Candidates are required to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong customer service skills.
