In addition to working with the City Council, here you will provide leadership for your department and contribute as a leadership team member in addressing organizational-wide challenges and opportunities for the city.

The new City Attorney will manage all of the services and activities of the City Attorney’s Office, which includes civil advice and litigation, misdemeanor criminal prosecution, risk management, and administration. The mission of the City Attorney’s Office is to protect lives and property and to preserve and enhance the quality of life of the public by delivering effective and high-quality advice, litigation, prosecution and risk management services that further the city’s policies and programs. The City Attorney’s Office has a staff of 27 and a current budget of $18.8 million.
