Position: Contract Lobbyist

Reports to: Advocacy Director 

Position status: Part-time, Consultant

About Legal Voice: Legal Voice pursues justice for all women and LGBTQ people in the Northwest, through groundbreaking litigation, legislative advocacy, and legal rights education. As a progressive feminist organization with an intersectional approach to gender justice, Legal Voice practices community lawyering, centering the most impacted community voices across all levels of our advocacy, and rooting all our work in our race equity values.

Position summary: In partnership with the program team, Legal Voice’s contract lobbyist will serve as the primary representative in Olympia tasked with advancing our legislative and administrative agenda, maintaining and cultivating relationships with elected officials and agency staff, and developing strategies in collaboration with BIPOC communities and other impacted groups to understand and elevate community priorities and advance legislative goals.
