The Tax group at Stoel Rives LLP is seeking to add an Attorney to its dynamic tax practice in the Pacific Northwest to be based in our Portland office. Our tax group offers a full range of advice and strategic counsel on the tax implications of complex business transactions. We also have an active tax controversy practice, including state and local tax controversy matters throughout the region. The ideal candidate will have experience counseling clients on an array of federal and/or state and local tax issues in both transactional and litigation matters.

The American Civil Liberties Union of Washington (ACLU-WA) is seeking a Deputy Director (DD).
The Deputy Director plays a key role in shaping the vision of the organization’s work and increasing the effectiveness of ACLU-WA operations. As a trusted advisor to the Executive Director, the Deputy Director will be focused on creating and supervising an outstanding HR, IT and Operations team that supports the entire organization through collaborative leadership and strategic and efficient workflow. The DD will ensure that resources — both financial and human — are deployed in ways that help further cross-team collaboration and achieve organization-wide goals. The DD will report to the Executive Director, assisting the ED with the internal, day-to-day management of the organization and will serve on the Leadership Team.

The Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals is recruiting for Industrial Appeals Judges (Hearings Judge).
Salary Range: $95,484 – 102,816. Employees assigned to the Seattle Office receive an additional 5% premium pay.

Duties: The Hearings Judge presides over conferences and hearings where evidence is presented pursuant to Rules of Evidence and Superior Court Rules, and issues written decisions resolving appeals filed under the Industrial Insurance Act, Crime Victims Compensation Act, Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act, and other acts as determined by the Legislature.
