    Environmental Associate

    The Seattle office of Stoel Rives LLP, a full service business law firm, is seeking an Associate with 3-4 years of experience for its nationally-recognized Environment, Land Use and Natural Resources practice. The Associate will have the opportunity to work on sophisticated legal matters, including environmental and natural resource permitting, litigation, counseling, and regulatory advice.     Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

    · JD from an accredited university with excellent academic credentials

    GENERAL PURPOSE:

    Sound Transit's legal department seeks a senior construction law attorney. As in-house counsel to a rapidly growing regional transit authority, we advise agency staff and policy makers on complex legal matters and develop legal strategies and creative solutions that balance potential legal risks with strategic and public interests. We work with elected officials, the Federal Transit Administration, engineers, transportation planners, and other dedicated agency staff to plan, design, build and operate the region's high capacity transportation system. This position will join existing team of 11 attorneys working in a collegial environment in our Union Station offices.

    The Seattle office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP seeks a mid-level commercial litigation associate attorney with at least 3 years’ experience; law-firm experience is required, and clerkship experience is strongly preferred. Experience in commercial litigation, including responsibility for pleadings, motions and discovery, is required, and experience in court is preferred.
